Ein Synonym für Feusel ist Feifel:cite-ref-2[2] „So nennen unwissende Quaksalber, Empiriker, Schmiede, Fuhrleute, Kutscher die großen Ohrdrüsen (Parotiden) und jede Anschwellung derselben wird von ihnen mit dem Namen Feifel belegt.“ (C.
